Dashboard Comparisons
Decise's side-by-side dashboard comparisons allows you to visually evaluate multiple decisions and scenarios in one view. By aligning key metrics across decision options head-on, this feature makes it easy to spot differences in value, risk, timing, and overall viability. You can now visually see which decision appears better on paper. This will help your Organization prioritise initiatives, justify trade-offs, and make faster, more informed choices. It’s a simple yet powerful way to bring clarity to complex decisions.
How to Compare Dashboards
1. Navigate to the Dashboard area from the left side navigation panel.
2. Type the Decision Name or the Decision ID to search for the first decision you want to compare on the left hand side.
3. Press Enter.
4. The decision dashboard will now be displayed.
5. Type the Decision Name or the Decision ID to search for the first decision you want to compare on the right hand side. It can be the same decision (if you are wanting to compare the original version against a scenario version)
Both decision's dashboards now appear side-by-side for you to directly compare.
Dashboard Comparison Suggestions
Dashboard Comparison is a powerful tool.
You can use this feature for multiple types of analysis. Below are a few suggestions to get you going:
- When deciding between alternative solutions for the same decision, create each alternative as its own decision, then compare their respective dashboards.
- You can compare a current decision against a relevant decision of the past.
- You can compare decisions based on priority. For example compare the number 1 and number 2 priority decision against each other to validate the priority given.
- Compare two different What-if scenarios of two different decisions.
- Compare the original decision against its own What-if scenario or financial version scenario.
Your Organization can choose any combination of decision comparisons they see fit, to make better decisions.
