Decise is software that helps organisations manage their decision-making process with greater governance and intelligence. It is a platform that helps leaders collaborate, analyse and structure decisions using universal best practices.
The software allows anyone from small businesses, to large corporates, to Government and Not-For-Profit enterprises to make better decisions.
Decise used Baysian Network AI models to evaluate decisions against an algorithm focused on 'best practices in decision making'. This probability-based approach uses your real data and organisation's actual circumstances to provide its prediction insights. No outside generic internet data is used in Decise.
Predictions, as the name suggests, are estimations of the future; accuracy is therefore not achievable. The insights provided by the Decise AI dashboards provide objective data-driven rationalisation for a proposed decision. The prediction of whether it is likely to be a successful decision or not is connected to many variables. Our AI does this modelling for you, using sound logic and reason.
Customisation is currently not possible. The platform has been created with different organisational requirements in mind and is flexible enough to be used by various industries. Customisation features is in our product enhancement pipeline, so look out for announcements. If you have any specific requests regarding customisation please register a feature request here.
The dashboard is a combination of AI calculated metrics and mathematical computations. The ROI for example is a mathematical calculation using your User inputs in the decision, similar to one you would calculate manually in a spreadsheet. The metric on whether the decision is likely to be 'successful' is a complex algorithm, and is therefore an AI-computed response, again based on information provided in the decision and your organisation's details.
Absolutely. Your data is securely stored in our database using industry-standard encryption and access controls. While your information contributes to aggregate analysis to improve our platform, Decise does not view, use, or share your individual data. Your privacy and security are our top priorities.
Whilst Decise does not have public API Documentation yet, we have created a native integration between Decise and Xero. To find out how to connect Decise and Xero contact us at [email protected] Decise intends to increase its integration possibilities soon.
Not at all, the platform is extremely user-friendly. You are prompted to enter data in a simple manner. You can upload your own complex analysis as document attachments to the decision. The viewing of dashboards is as simple as a push of a button. Managing the workflow is also as easy as a push of buttons.
Yes you can cancel your subscription at any time. You and your fellow Users will lose access to the platform at the end of your billing cycle. Please note that your data will not be deleted for 2 months in case you change your mind.
Decise allows you to assign key 'roles' to stakeholders.
Provide clarity on who is involved in the decision-making process.
A Creator is a role given to members within a Team / Department / Decision Group who are responsible for starting and organising the decision creation process. The Creator has the smallest level of access. They can create decisions that are within their Decision Group and can contribute to decisions of others if they have specifically been invited to them.
The Collaborator role has the equivalent level of access as the Creator role, however is designed to be used for members that are not formally part of a Decision Group, however are required to contribute to decisions in the organisation as and when required.
The Manager role has the ability to re-open a decision back to draft for further editing. They can make edits to a published decision, prior to submitting it for approval. A Manager can submit the decision for approval. The Manager role is designed to be the person accountable for presenting the decision for approval.
The Approver role has the ability to decide on whether a decision should be accepted or rejected. Decise has a three-tier approval hierarchy. Meaning you can be appointed as Approver #1, Approver #2 or Approver #3. Not all 3 Tiers need to be used for every decision; however, a decision can have a maximum of 3 Approvers. An Approver #1's decision verdict can be overruled by Approver #2. Similarly Approver #2's verdict can be overruled by Approver #3.
The Administrator role has the highlest level of access to all areas of the Decise software, including subscription management. They are not however automatically granted Approver rights. An administrator,
like any other User must be specifically assigned as an Approver to a decision for them to have the power to decide on the decision.
The Participant role in Decise is reserved for Users outside of your organisation. These are guests you invite to your Decise account as contributors towards a specific decision. They have the least rights of all the Decise roles. They only have access to specific parts of a decision you give them access to. You can remove a participant anytime from your account.
For example, Ben and Renee are working on a M&A project decision and would like the external company accountant and lawyer to contribute to this business case. The accountant is invited to participate in the financial section of the decision and the lawyer is invited to participate in the risk and governance area of the decision. When the accountant and lawyer receive an invitation from Ben and Renee, they sign up for a free Decise account first, and then they are immediately given access to this M&A decision. They can provide responses and make comments to people in your organisation. Once the decision has been published, they can view the decision and dashboard, but they are locked out of the decision from that point.
