Document Management

Decise allows you to keep all your project-related decision documents organised, accessible, and version-controlled in a single, central location. This feature streamlines collaboration, reduces information silos, and ensures your team always works from the latest data. From cost analysis to risk assessments and review notes—everything you need is securely stored and easy to find against the decision. Approvers in the decision making process can now easily access and utilise this information in their approval process, without having to leave the Decise platform.

For good measure, the Decise platform also allows you to store general documents up to your storage limit.

Viewing a Decision Document

In the help article Uploading Supporting Files you learnt how to add a document to a decision from the decision screen. You can view the document in that screen directly. You can also view all documents for that decision in the Docs module.

1. Navigate to the Docs area from the left side navigation panel.

2. Here you can access all documents uploaded against all decisions in the platform.

3. If you add the Decision Name or ID in the Search bar, all documents pertaining to that decision will appear in the Decision Documents section.

From here, you can use the Elipsis button on any decision document and you can navigate to the decision, Download the document or Delete it.

Viewing an Organisation Document

In the Organization Details area you can add documents relating to strategy and your goals. You can view those attached documents in that area directly, however you can also view a consolidated list of any document attached there, in the Docs area of Decise. This second access point is there to make it easy for your Users.

General Documents

Decise has a General Documents Repository to allow your Organization the flexibility of storing any other document that is relevant to your decision making process.

All Users have access to the Docs area in Decise so consider the security of confidential files being added here.
